Bamboo is one of the world's most sustainable materials. Unlike other timber species - which often take several decades to reach full growth - Bamboo is harvested every 5-6 years and replanting is extremely regular. Bamboo worktops are full of character, with a straight grain pattern separated neatly by nodes and a beautiful golden surface. A bamboo worktop is also hardwearing and naturally watertight, thanks to its innovative and unique formulation: being constructed from compressed, layered sections of timber rather than finger-jointed staves.
Our solid wood worktop collection is carefully crafted from only the finest-quality raw material, providing incomparable strength, beauty and durability. Constructed from high-pressure glued, finger-jointed, 40mm wide staves, we supply our A grade bamboo kitchen worktops square-edged and fully sanded to a 150 grit smoothness but otherwise untreated, allowing you to finish the wooden worktops to your preference prior to installation.
